Employability Centre Mega Job Fair at Alappuzha | Kerala job fair at College of Engineering and Management, fair.Punnapra on march 11 Saturday: Employability Centre under District Employment Exchange successfully complete the first year of its mega fair.In a major fillip to hundreds of job seekers across the state, Alleppey district employment exchange and employability center will conduct a mega job fair in the city on march 11 Saturday at College of Engineering and Management, Punnapra will start by 8:30 am. Interested people can pre-register themselves to participate the job fair.
According to the organizers, more than 30 multinational companies will participate in the job fair which can be attended who have the qualification of above +2. The companies have so far registered over 2000 job opportunities in different filed.The Job seekers have to bring the details of the certificate to prove age, education qualification and experience for registration.

About Employability Centres:
Department of Labour & Skills, Government of Kerala has taken a revolutionary step by converting Employment Exchanges into Employability Centres.Conventionally Employment Exchanges are providing the services of registration and placement. There is no provision for assessing the skill set of the candidates and providing adequate training. Further, the Employment Exchanges are covering only public sector employments, whereas the employment opportunity is more in the private sector. Identifying employment opportunities and providing placements suited to the profile of candidates is the need of the hour. Concerted and systematic efforts are required to make the youth employable and to place them in private sector by making them competent to avail the employment opportunities. With this objective, Government of Kerala through Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), which is the Skill Development Mission of the State of Kerala, is looking forward to providing value added services by setting up Employability Centres besides the Employment Exchanges in the State.
